At last count he has six kids by four different women so I imagine some of them are young enough to still need a full time father. Of course if they don’t all live under the same roof that still may be logistically difficult.

obviously, neither of us know first hand what happened that night when the shots rang out outside that club. However, watching ray in the league for the past decade, I don’t know that there’s a player who has been more dedicated and upstanding in that time. So, by all means, judge a man based on one moment, about which you know little or nothing, but it only makes you look stupid. Ray will simply continue to dominate on the field and help others off.

The greatest linebacker of my generation for sure.

I’m a Bucs fan through and through and to me the only one who even comes close to Ray Lewis status in this generation was Derrick Brooks but, as well know, it’s really not that close.

Not a Ravens fan, but you have to love what this guy brings to the field! Feel bad for his son already. Just like all the other sons of Hall of Fame players, so much will be expected of him and I won’t be surprised if he turns out like all the rest who are only known because of their dads and not skill.

Love the way Ray Lewis plays football, personal stuff aside. Leads with fire and conviction, plays balls out all the time. As a Giants fan i would love to clone him and plug him in our defense.

Ray is a living legend, just to see the respect other players and offensive coordinators give to this man is enough to prove to anyone that he is the greatest defender to ever play the game.

I’m going to miss you when you decide to hang that jersey up for good Ray, you are one of the best to ever play the game.

Nice story, but doesn’t being a full time father start much earlier than the kid’s 18th birthday? Not full time in a traditional sense, but full time meaning you’re a significant part of your child’s life. He may be a good father, but the wording sounds odd.

God I love this guy… As a Panthers fan, 2 years ago when Steve Smith was thinking about leaving for Baltimore, I was thinking about how awesome it would be for these two guys to be on the same team. So much passion for the game and passion for making an impact on and off the field as well, I couldn’t help but hope he would make the move and go to the Ravens and potentially win a Superbowl with Ray Lewis, (obviously I’m glad he stayed in Charlotte since the Jimmy Clausen experiment is over).

Love my Panthers, but respect Ray Lewis and the Ravens so much.
