ReutersAt a time when the Jets should be looking for help at receiver (more on that in a bit), the Saints have brought in five wideouts for a tire-kicking.
A league source says the Saints worked out Brian Robiskie, Deon Butler, Jason Hill, Rasheed Davis, and Preston Parker.
The Saints currently have five receivers on the roster: Marques Colston, Devery Henderson, Lance Moore, Courtney Roby, and Joseph Morgan. Two others, Chris Given and Nick Toon, are on injured reserve.

You can never have too many sub-par receivers…
Can these 5 receivers play defense too?
Which means that either Colston or Henderson are either going to be out, possibly for an extended period of time. My guess: Colston.
Shouldn’t we be reading the story “Jets kick tires on receivers” right about now?
An article about receivers that doesn’t mention Chad Johnson or Terrell Owens?!
Sign Plexico Burress man. He’s still got skills
Ahhhh, who could forget Jason Hill, formally of the Jag’s. The same Jason Hill that called out Revis for being “overhyped”. Seems like that worked out well for him.
If you’re a WR & cut from the Jag’s, you may as well look for another career.
TO can still play.

Colston just got a new contract, is back from injury and had a baller game against the Pack. The Saints are just doing their due diligence. If anyone is gone, it’s either Roby or Morgan. Morgan just had an 80 yard TD. Roby has been conspicuously absent.
If you’re going to give up 32+ points per game, might as well sign 4 more receivers. Someone’s gotta make up the point differential.
What, no love for Brian ‘The Ghost’ Robiskie?
Deon Butler is an excellent receiver. With Drew Brees throwing to him he could really shine. He broke his leg on a scoring play for the Seahawks and he still held on to the ball. The man is HIGHLY underrated. Get a quality quarterback chucking him the ball and he could be great.
Because adding offensive skill players will solve the gaping holes in their defense……..
chad johnson maybe?!
Do you mean, defensive receivers? Like a DB that can catch a football?
