Fitzpatrick is so smart. He is like Good Will Hunting. That is why he has thrown more picks than any other player by far over the past 2+ seasons. Because he is smart. He must be. He went to Harvard. Duh.

Give me the Stanford guys over the Harvard guys anyday.

Jackson will come off the bench after Fitzpatrick gets hurt and Thigpen comes in and can’t get the job done. The way Fitzpatrick has been throwing himself around, it will eventually happen this season. If you ask me, Fitzpatrick has all the tools mentally to run a sharp Offense, but doesn’t have the athleticism to compete with what he see’s on the field. Put a big armed and mobile QB like Jackson in with Fitzpatrick deciphering the plays from the sideline. To me it would be the best of both worlds.

You have to step up and learn the offense and demonstrate your worth. See Minnesota / Seattle and now the Bills.

No great QB ever sat as a 3rd stringer for an entire year. That offense can’t be that much harder than others.
