The Eagles came out of Sunday night with a few injury concerns, but they all seem to be well under control.

Quarterback Michael Vick, running back LeSean McCoy and cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha all practiced on Wednesday. Vick suffered a knee contusion late in Sunday night’s 19-17 win and said that he hoped to be ready to play this Sunday against the Steelers. Coach Andy Reid didn’t express much concern about his status nor was there much worry about the other two players.

McCoy was mentioned in Reid’s Monday press conference as having tweaked his knee against the Giants although it was hard to notice it while he was having a strong second half. Asomugha missed some of the game after getting poked in the eye and was incorrectly reported to be headed to the hospital before returning for the end of the game. Absent any negative reports in the next two days, you can expect to see all of them in Pittsburgh.

The other big news of the day at Eagles practice was the return of left tackle King Dunlap. Dunlap’s been out with a hamstring injury, leaving the position to Demetress Bell. Reid suggested that Dunlap might not immediately return to the starting lineup.

“I’ll cross that bridge when we get there,” Reid said, via Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer. “But I’m glad to have King back. I just want to see how he’s doing.”

Reid said he thought Bell played well against the Giants, which could earn him another shot to nail down the job the Eagles wanted him to have when they signed him this offseason.
