I like the Lombardi article. A true Vince story from his time in Green Bay, a black player asked Vince if he could marry a white girl before it was legal in Wisconsin and Vince’s only response was “be at practice on Monday”. I’m not a Packers fan, but that is still one of the best stories about tolerance and racial equality I’ve ever had. That and prior to his death Vince was in the process of mentoring a black player as to how a front office job works in the NFL.
