Colts extend sellout streak to 82

During the offseason, with season-ticket holders opting to take a break and the waiting list fully exhausted, there were concerns that the Colts wouldn’t be able to sell out their home stadium on a consistent basis.

So far, the post-Peyton Colts have sold out all three of their home games.

According to Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star, the Colts have sold out Sunday’s game against the Packers.

With the Buccaneers off and the Dolphins on the road, the only blackout hot spot is in Cincinnati, where the 3-1 Bengals obtained earlier this week a 24-hour extension of the 72-hour deadline for selling all non-premium tickets.

That stadium will be split 50/50 between the two fan bases.

One fan base has a loyal following. The other thinks they’re at the state-fair.

Hats off to Colts fans, that’s mighty impressive under the circumstances.

    Hell, even without. :)

The nickname cheesehead was supposed to be derisive. The attempt got spun. The purpose of wearing a cheesehead is first and foremost a joke…a joke that tells the world that we don’t take ourselves too seriously and we sure as hell don’t care what people think. We know what we have here and it’s better than anywhere else. We’re here for the same reasons champion mountain climbers live near mountains and champion surfers live near oceans. Why would they care if there isn’t anything else to do? This is a pro football site and we’re a pro football town. When was the last time you checked the upcoming opera and symphony schedules, Big Town? That’s what I thought.
