Hakeem Nicks out at least one more game

Giants receiver Hakeem Nicks will miss his third consecutive game.

Nicks, who has been dealing with a knee injury, has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Browns. Giants coach Tom Coughlin said he didn’t think Nicks’s knee was improving, and the fact that the Giants are ruling him out already indicates that they don’t think it’s going to improve soon.

Although Nicks had a tremendous game in Week Two, catching 10 passes for 199 yards and a touchdown in a comeback win over the Buccaneers, he hasn’t played since then. The Giants have said they are not concerned about the foot injury that caused Nicks to miss most of the offseason, but the knee is clearly becoming a concern.

Giants receiver Ramses Barden may miss Sunday’s game with a concussion, which would leave Domenik Hixon as the receiver to start opposite Victor Cruz.

Injuries seem to bring out the best in the gmen. Hixon and Cruz are a good pair.
Gotta suck having a WR who is strong as hell when he can play but fragile as glass.

Hakeem has the hardware to prove he’s tough when it matters.

Let him get healed up for the playoffs, LOL. I mean seriously, he misses at least 3 games a year. It’s a shame because it is going to impact his career numbers and he has the talent, tools and plays in a system that could put him on track for a hall of fame career.

    Injuries could easily stiefel that.
