APWell, now we know why the Saints looked at a quintet of free-agent receivers on Tuesday.
Lance Moore, who is tied with Marques Colston with 19 receptions for the most among wide receivers, hasn’t practiced this week due to a hamstring injury, according to the New Orleans Times-Picayune. As a result, he may miss Sunday night’s game against the Chargers.
“It’s a case where guys are going to have to step up and do it,” interim-interim coach Aaron Kromer said. “We have to adjust what we’re doing and fill guys in when we can. It’s hard to replace Lance Moore.”
Without Moore, the Saints have only four healthy receivers: Colston, Devery Henderson, Courtney Roby, and Joseph Morgan.
Plaxico Burress is flabbergasted.

“Plaxico Burress is flabbergasted.”
haha .. good 1
And Greg Camarillo. They signed him.
Among the myriad of other problems the receivers for the Saints haven’t been able to get separation this year.
Adding Plaxico wouldn’t solve that problem.
they should sign T.O. or Ocho to a two week contract or however many games moore is going to miss .. then when moore gets back just cut them off.
and they don’t even have to throw it to T.O. or Ocho .. just make them run around the field .. haha
camarillo is a moore clone….
Moore is the best wide receiver on the Saints roster….what they do need is more outside speed, and it’s not there. Brees has been making ordinary receivers look better than they really are:
Colston 7th rd, Moore undrafted, Morgan undrafted, Henderson in 9th year….
with that group lucky to have Sproles and Graham.
