Getty ImagesCardinals defensive end Darnell Dockett missed just the second game of his NFL career last weekend, but it doesn’t look like he’s going to add a third this week.
Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Dockett is expected to play against the Rams as Arizona tries to improve their record to a perfect 5-0. Dockett has been battling a hamstring injury and was limited in practice on Wednesday before being listed as questionable on the team’s injury report.
Rams running back Steven Jackson also drew the questionable tag on Wednesday, but Jim Thomas of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that he is also expected to be on the field on Thursday night. Jackson has been fighting a groin injury since Week Two. It hasn’t kept him from playing in either of the last two games but has left him at something less than his optimal performance level.
Thomas also expects left tackle Wayne Hunter to play in spite of his questionable tag. Hunter, who has a knee issue, is coming off a strong performance against the Seahawks in Week Four and his presence has made it easier to deal with Rodger Saffold’s extended absence with his own knee injury.

As a Niners fan, let’s go Rams!!!
Great that Darnell Dockett is playing tonight, I like our (Cardinals) chances more with him in the game. Steven Jackson is not a factor.
Pretty ignorant statement right there. Most of the run D the Rams have played have been stout.. Redskins are 1, seattle was 3 or 4..Chicago’s D is never easy.
SJ Non factor?
We’ll see about that… I’d say Dockett might be a non factor, as we’re staring at that oh-so-tough Arizona 29th ranked RUN D.

Sure about that?
He was missed last week (as witnessed by Tannehill having a big day).
Your a non-factor
It could be a big sack count night for the AZ defense…Calais Campbell & Dockett occupy the line while those LB’s put hits on QB’s. 16 sacks tied for best in the NFL so far.
