		<description><![CDATA[I don&#039;t think having larger padding could have prevented this.  He fell wrong and got injured.  First game last year, he did the same thing.  Fell on his elbow and was out the rest of the year.]]></description>

		<description><![CDATA[It isn&#039;t shoulder pad &quot;technology&quot;, it&#039;s just the shoulder pads that Amendola chooses to wear are practically nonexistent. They give him better range of motion to catch balls above his head. Ed McCaffrey used to wear pads that looked like pee wee football pads for the same reason. It&#039;s hard to catch a ball over your helmet with Eric Dickerson style pads.

All that said, you&#039;re right that his nonexistent pads are a major reason he tends to get hurt all the time.]]></description>
