Mike Vick apparently owns a dog again

Eagles quarterback Mike Vick has spoken in the past about his desire to once again own a dog. Apparently, he now does.

Either that or someone in his house has developed a taste for dog food.

Courtesy of the folks at CrossingBroad.com, Vick tweeted a photo of himself and his daughter working at a table in their home, with Vick studying his iPad playbook and Vick’s daughter doing homework. On the table is an open box of Milk Bone dog biscuits.

Per CrossingBroad.com, Vick then deleted the photo and replaced it with another one, with the dog treats out of the shot.

Though Vick has suggested in the past that the terms of his probation prevent him from ever owning a dog again, the prohibition expired when his probation ended. And he seemed intent on getting a dog during a Piers Morgan interview in July.

So why hide the fact that he has a dog?

Maybe he simply wanted to avoid the questions that inevitably would come from making it known that the man who went to prison for dogfighting and who admitted to killing multiple underperforming dogs in cold blood once again owns a dog. Of course, he’s now likely destined to get those questions, given the tweeted-and-deleted photo containing a Milk Bone box.
