After watching Weeden, Kolb, Bradford, Freeman, and Sanchez play QB Tebow has better stats as a starter. Most important is his ability to turn losing teams into winners. The great Manning was 25/52 vs the texans so maybe it wasn’t all Tebow’s fault last yr for his 50% comp %. Tebow threw 160+ TDs in HS and college. He had the 2nd highest comp% in SEC history. Better than both mannings. Once a team commits to Tebow as starter, supports him on and off the field, and allows him to become comfortable so he can relax and play his style. The results will be the same as HS and college, multiple championships. The world saw what he could do with a GM and coach not supporting him fully, imagine the possibilities if they supported him like the coaches of the above mentioned losers. Bradford was 7/21 33% comp against cards. If he’s qualified to be a starter, Tebow would be all pro. Judge Tebow against his peers fairly, and you will realize he’s one of the best young QB’s in the NFL.

It will end when Tebow is playing a position for which his skill set is suited at the NFL level…

That would be FB, TE or H-Back; he might be a Pro Bowler at any one with his work ethic but QB, not so much…

The real issue at hand here is the Mike Tannebaum. Besides Dustin Keller, the receiver options for Mark Sanchez is atrocious. Santonio Holmes is a number two at best and lacks the leadership he should provide as a veteran. Add in the offensive line woes, this team is a true wreck. A defensive run organization that tries to put the bare minimum on offense and expect positive results. Not a true fan of Sanchez but it’s hard to point the finger at him when he’s been giving little.

From the moment he was traded to the Jets, it was known that this would become an issue, with the media and some fans driving the bus for Tebow to start.

You cant expect anyone to succeed when you have a cornerback saying he is second best receiver on the team, and a no real offensive threat.

Agreed. Not sure about the fascination with Barkley. Another weak armed USC QB that is handing the ball off to NFL RBs and first round WRs (with 5 star talent around him). Barkley is actually a poor man’s Sanchez, and that is scary…

Please, no more quarterbacks from USC. The last few QBs haven’t lived up to their draft pick selection. Carson Palmer won’t lead anyone to a SuperBowl victory. Same for Matt Lineart. And Sanchez..he’s the best of the last few USC QBs, but he’s not going to lead this team to a SuperBowl with this roster.

Didn’t any jests fans watch games or read any articles about the Fins last season? Sparano was supposed to be an O-Line guru, and he set the Fins O-Line back years with his tweeking and changing. As soon as he’s gone, they seemed to improve tremendously.

Maybe, in the end, that’s the best way to get the most out of Sanchez, who seems to be at his best when there’s a genuine sense of urgency.

USC, were you go when you want to waste a first round pick on a qb.

I don’t know what these Jets players are smoking. Their offense is garbage. They have no passing game and no running game and for a team that is supposed to be ground in pound you would probably want to have a respected running game. If they put Tebow in their ground game would improve and people would respect their running game, as garbage as a throwing QB he is hes not that much worse than Sanchez but at least it would improve their run game drastically.

There would not be an issue and Tebow probably wouldn’t even be there if Sanchez were as good as people always suggest he is. I am surprised though, especially with Sparano as O coordinator that they haven’t found a way to incorporate Tebow into the offense. All this being said the O line is not very good and they don’t run the ball very effectively either. All the more reason to put Tebow in and adjust their style around him in my opinion.

It’s good to know there will be no more articles about replacement refs. They were talking valuable time and effort away from the Sanchez/Tebow/Jets articles.
