APThe Browns will play without two of their top three receivers against the Giants on Sunday.
Receivers Travis Benjamin and Mohamed Massaquoi aren’t on the team plane to New York and have been ruled out, the team has confirmed. The news is not a big surprise, as both Benjamin and Massaquoi had been listed as doubtful.
The absence of Benjamin and Massaquoi will lead to Josh Cribbs getting more balls thrown his way. Cribbs is surprisingly listed as probable despite being knocked out in a brutal collision in the Browns’ last game, against the Ravens.
Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden has played fairly well this season despite getting very little help from his receivers. And it’s going to be tough for him to get much help from his receivers with Benjamin and Massaquoi out against the Giants.

More injuries on the Brownies? What a surprise. Year after year nothing but injuries.
Dear Jimmy Haslam,
Please fire the ENTIRE coaching and conditioning staff. They are clearly NOT doing their job as they can’t even keep our players healthy, much less put together a winning strategy to win a game. Hell…hire Bill Belichick’s water boy, he probably has more skill than Holmgren or Pat Shurmur.
I do believe the Browns need some stability to progress, but it’s not going to be Shurmur or anyone else on the Browns coaching staff that can provide it.
wow not looking good at all
….and we passed on Julio Jones?
Good job, H & H!
