APThe Lions continue to struggle on defense, with no interceptions through four games. When they return from their annual week off, there’s reason for optimism.
Safety Louis Delmas returned to practice before the mandatory bye-week break. Per a league source, Delmas will continue to practice this week, in anticipation of playing in what amounts to a must-win game next Sunday against the Eagles.
Delmas had knee surgery in August, and he has yet to play in a game this season. The fourth-year veteran missed one game as a rookie, one game in 2010, and five in 2011.
The Lions are 1-3, and they easily could have been 0-4.

And they could easily be 3-1 if they just had an average special teams unit.
And so the trash talk begins on the Lions…mainly by Vikings and Niners fans.

Delmas should solve everything?
Who needs Megatron and Stafford…
I believe the Lions also lead the league in yardage per penalty
And I believe you are wrong Grizzly.
Besides getting Delmas back, the Lions had better get their drive, personality, special teams, play calling, defense, offense and coaching back.
