Brady Quinn in, but not for the reason you expect

Brady Quinn, Matt Cassel AP

Matt Cassel finally came out of the game, but not for the reason you’d expect.

The justifiably maligned Chiefs quarterback was knocked out of the game when he took a hard shot from a pair of Ravens defenders. The Chiefs announced he had a head injury, and his return was questionable.

Brady Quinn immediately jumped up and started warming up, and has entered the game.

The Chiefs trail 9-3, only in the game after four turnovers because the Ravens are playing poorly on offense, and can’t stop a stubborn running game.

The regular refs in this game suck. They just took away a clear fumble/touchdown that would have given the Chiefs the game. Glad the media darling Ravens were gifted another win. I wonder if people will flip out because it was only the Chiefs that got screwed.

God, do I hate the use of the word “era” in sports, especially when it’s used for nothings like Brady “I was famous when I was at Notre Dame” Quinn.

Be careful what you wish for Chiefs fans. Like Cassel, Brady Quinn is garbage as well.
