With the record taken care of, the Saints have gone back to being the Saints.

The Chargers just went up 24-14, after an interception by Quentin Jammer off Drew Brees (which makes one consecutive game with a pick) set up a 13-yard touchdown by Ryan Mathews.

It’s a big score for Mathews, who has been trying to fight his way out of the doghouse.

The Saints give indications they can still move the ball. But they can’t stop anyone from doing same.

Unless Philip Rivers has a meltdown he’s giving no indication of having, Brees may have to break more records to keep this going.
