Dolphins hold one-point edge at the half

Daniel Thomas, Nate Clements AP

Correction week could be continuing in Cincinnati, when the 1-3 Dolphins are poised to knock off the 3-1 Bengals.  At the half, Miami holds a one-point lead in a low-scoring game, 7-6.

The Dolphins are hanging in there despite injuries in the secondary and an ordinarily potent passing attack for the Bengals.  But quarterback Andy Dalton has only 83 yards passing, and receiver A.J. Green has generated only four catches for 26 yards.  (Green suffered an ankle injury, but he is expected to return.)

The Dolphins are getting a solid performance from rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill, who has completed seven of 10 passes for 101 yards.  Running back Daniel Thomas has scored the game’s only touchdown.

Miami could be even farther ahead, but for a couple of fumbles — one deep in Cincinnati territory and one on a muffed punt that gave the Bengals a field goal.

Probably better get used to Florio remaining silent as Miami keeps getting better and better each week. Not to mention the schedule gets easier.
