Comments on: Packers extend lead, lose Benson and Raji, gripe about bad call

These losers will always complain about the calls. Sure there have been bad calls that have gone against them but they also have received many calls that have gone their way. Lining up in the neutral zone on 4th and 1, Charles “Clutch and Grab” Woodson’s PI in the endzone, the constant holding by their perferated offensive line. Why do they think that they shouldn’t have bad calls go against them? Maybe because they were the recipients of the calls for so many years. Packer fans got what you asked for. The regular refs are back and why do you boo the refs when your players are cheating?

There were plenty of calls not called in that game. Are we sure we replaced the replacement refs?

The play on 4th and 1, Green Bay was clearly lined up in the neutral zone….but that never got called. It happened all day.

So if he doesn’t duck his head down a bit, it’s helmet to helmet.

If he dives at the legs that a flag.

If he lowers his head more and to the side of the player he’s putting his neck at risk if there is a player coming from the other side.

Even as is, the video shows that the first thing that his helmet hits is Luck’s arm and the ball.

Due to lack of options I’ve seen players start to grab the shoulder pads, and then jump up and ride the QB down. Not a flag now, but I’m sure as soon as Brady gets hurt that will be out too.

It’s always funny how a lot of people’s perception of the rule changes, when it come to who the penalty was called against. For instance I remember last year James Harrison of the Pittsburgh steelers was penalized for a similar hit on drew Bree’s. Harrison was tackling brees from behind, head up and his facemask hit Bree’s in the back and they called it helmet to helmet. A lot of fans said it was the right call, and Harrison deserved the penalty and the fine. Now a very similar play happens and packer fans scream what a terrible call.

I don’t like the call either, but you can’t say it’s a great call when it happens to a player or team you dislike, but then whine when it’s against your team.

I have seen 8 year old Pop Warner teams display better sportsmanship. Heck the Packers throw bigger temper tamtrums than 5 year olds, its pathetic.

Wasn’t the griping against the Packers after MNF “loss” to Seattle about making plays to overcome bad calls? It was a clean hit…yes, they got jobbed on that call. Doesn’t matter if its Packers or Browns…teams/players/fans get angry and frustrated over blown calls.

The penalty mattered – instead of having it at the Colts’ 15, they lost 50 yards on the punt. It was a bad call – it was anticipation, not execution – on the helmet-leading hit. The rule is poorly written, and movement so fast – they are almost asking the officials to officiate intent.

I think I speak for most everyone when I say that kattykathy should shut her pie hole until she admits she understands the simultaneous possession rule. We get it. You’re sick of watching the Packers dominate your team (which you appear to be too ashamed of to ever mention), so you have nothing better to do than berate another team’s fan base.

Even the announcers (who don’t appear to be favoring the Packers) said that it was a bad call. Legitimate sack/fumble, but the Packers get jobbed on the call.

Packers will still win, but the refs need to get their act together.

That was a textbook tackle that is taught from the time you’re in pee-wee football. They need to get a grip. You can’t wrap the guy low and you can’t wrap the guy face-to-face with your head up? It is ridiculous.
