Most of Roethlisberger’s “miracle” comebacks have been because he’s done little to nothing for most of games. Super Bowl 43 is the perfect example.
If I were a Roethlisberger Obsessive, I’d leave Super Bowls out of any conversation.

– Roethlisberger’s “amazing” fourth-quarter comeback was his first since 2009. He failed do so in Super Bowl 45; at Denver in last season’s playoff loss; at Denver in this season’s opener; and this season at Oakland.
If you Apologists are going to keep track of when he does, then you ought to man-up and keep track of when he doesn’t.

How about
-the holding on Wallace in the end zone that was not called,
-or the interference on Brown in mid center field that wasn’t called or the picture perfect pass to Brown in the end zone right in his hands that he dropped
-or the passs that Wallace dropped that could have been a burner down the left sideline for a TD
- Cotchery tripping on his own feet cancelling an easy TD.
- Ben’s 4th quarter comeback drive that you say he’s incapable of
- Ben had no sacks and no picks
- Ben ran the ball several times for a gain
- #1 in the league in 3rd down conversions

Pittsburgh is the top team in PA? Hahaha. We will see how long that lasts come playoff time…the only team beating the Eagles is the Eagles themselves. Once they correct these turnover issues, the sky is the limit. Top team in PA…give me a break. Maybe top as in over the hill, but not top in terms of talent.

I think Troy is done, as much as I like him, you can’t play at his level for long. We need a Ray Lewis like player. What also kills me is that the Steelers can never hold on to a lead. Why is that teams like the Pats can blow out and demoralize. Our D keeps the other team in the game every week.

Now bobzilla turns to criticizing coaches since Ben took the team down the field at the end to win the game, after starting in the hole with an OL holding penalty, something bob said good QBs do a week ago. I wonder if bob even watched the game, and saw AB drop a TD pass, saw a few non-calls on defensive holding and illegal contact, etc. Ben had a wonderful game overall in bad weather, took no sacks (ie dumpted the ball off several times), ran, etc. Some people are just too blind or ignorant to be honest.

Sloppy game on both sides. Steelers can’t execute without penalties and Vick can’t protect the ball. That being said, what stood out to me was Kurt Coleman (Philly S #42) : TOTAL BUSHLEAGUE PLAYER! First, he removes Antonio Brown’s shoe on a tackle and then throws it out of bounds?!? Who does that? Then, in the second half, he jumped on top of Pouncey’s back with both cleats. What a fool! Next to Brandon Meriweather, Coleman is the most Bushleague player in the NFL. Stop playing like a punk #42!

Nice victory for the Steelers. Welcome back Rashard! Finally, a semblance of a running game returned! And Ben leads the team on a game winning drive from behind as time expires, great job. Timmons had a monster game, and Harrison did well after basically no playing time the entire year.

On the downside, terrible break for Troy, not sure when that calf will be OK again, Colon had a miserable game with the penalties, and Wallace had a poor game.

Again, a much needed victory.

So Troy is out again, for who knows how long….sheesh, this is becoming expected now. They need to start looking for his replacement ASAP, because Mundy can’t do the job. I only saw the 4th quarter of the game today and he was awful as usual. Taylor also was given his daily serving of being burned at least twice in the little amount I saw. If the Steelers win a lot more games this season it will be despite their D not because of it.

Everytime I see a “Nick Foles needs a opportunity” comment I cant help but to laugh out loud!!! Vick fumbled at 2 very innopportune times yet, he brought them back to take a fourth quarter lead!!! No one mentions his 3 other quarters of efficient and effective play!!! Although Vick took full responsibility for the loss I’d bet my bottom dollar nobody in the Eagles locker room lay all the blame at his feet!!!! If the defense had made just one good stop they could’ve still pulled out the victory!!! Its a team effort and although Vick made errors he was not the sole reason that the Eagles lost like “some of you’s” would like to paint it out to be!!!! BTW be careful of what you wish for! During the preseason I recall plenty of Redskin fans saying that they think Kirk Cousins should get more playing time because RGIII is just like Vick. Well the Redskins fans got a brief look at Cousins today and a HUGE REALITY CHECK!!!! Lol I believe the Eagles would be in for the same RUDE AWAKENING!!!!! THE GRASS ALWAYS LOOKS GREENER ON THE OTHER SIDE!!

Steelers were given every advantage in this game. Coming off a bye, extra time to prepare. Eagles had to come off an emotional Sunday night game at home versus a division rival. Plus, Eagles have lost 3 of their 5 starting offensive lineman, and their top 2. That said, the game was there for the taking. Vick’s fumbles cost Philly the game.

Willie Colon has seemingly always been undisciplined when it comes to drawing flags (people seem to have forgotten about this given that he’s not played much over the past couple of years), and is average at best otherwise. Between that and the injuries, I sometimes don’t know what they value in him aside from the fact that they have no better replacements available.

Ok that last paragraph is wrong. Philly is 3-2, leading division. Pittsburgh is 2-2, behind two other division rivals. Ok steelers won , but having the better record and standing means Philly is still the top team in Pa.

Vick’s turnovers killed the Eagles. If he keeps this up the Eagles will miss the playoffs again. The Eagles D wasn’t real good but they only allowed 16 points. It would have been nice to get a takeaway or two.
