Says who? Most of the people I see or have read reporting on the Vikings have said just the opposite.

They completely controlled the game against the team everyone felt was the best in the NFL (49ers) and beat a second playoff team from last year on the road (Lions). The defense has been surprisingly impressive, while the special teams has made a huge difference.

They’ve cut down on penalties, turnovers and sacks. They’ve had improved play from their weakest positions: offensive line, defensive backfield and wide outs.

Who knows how things will shake out as the season progresses, but they are definately moving strongly in the right direction.
