Bengals put Bernard Scott on injured reserve

The Bengals already feared the worst for running back Bernard Scott after his knee injury.

Those fears were realized Monday, and the Bengals placed Scott on injured reserve.

That will put more pressure on BenJarvus Green-Ellis to hang onto the ball and be more productive, as Scott looked like a solid complement before his injury yesterday.

They filled his roster spot with the reinstatement of linebacker Dontay Moch, who was suspended the first four games of the season, and had a roster exemption last week.

That’s a shame, but I’d like to see Peerman get a few more carries anyway.

That’s too bad… he showed some burst yesterday. Green-Ellis isn’t looking too good. Cincy is going to have to address RB early in next year’s draft. We should have kept Benson.

I would have liked to see RB addressed with more than BJGE but I don’t agree that we should’ve kept Benson, though. Pretty lean pickings on the street – maybe Slaton?!?
