Peyton Manning in his last year with the Colts was an upgrade over Tebow. This and not religion is exactly why Tebow got so much hate last year. People who kept obnoxiously believing the guy was so much better than what he actually is. I haven’t ever seen such horrible QB play at the NFL level. The defense of the Broncos kept games close enough for any system QB to win last year. Tebow’s best attribute was he didn’t turn the ball over much and he was a good runner. As a QB he sucked. There’s almost no debating that.

That’s funny because the Jets seem to have made it out the first round 2 out of the past 3 seasons with Sanchez as the QB. Also if it’s not about giving your team the best chance to win then what is it about? You work with the pieces you have. Don’t play or start Tebow unless you believe doing so improves your chances of winning the game.

Where went all his snaps? I’ll tell you where……see, Rex Ryan was positive himself that the Texans were going to clobber the Jets, and Ryan was planning to play Tebow once it happened. Saying it was a part of the game plan to get Tebow more snaps at QB would perhaps control the NY media from blowing a QB controversy out of proportion. Since the game was close, there no need to give Tebow any snaps because Sanchez somehow didn’t manage to lose his job tonight.

I saw Mark Sanchez’s completion percentage tonight. Heck, it hasn’t been great his whole career. Cromartie got open and Sanchez just couldn’t make the throw. Tebow can’t do much worse. That being said, the position he’s going to be put in is a shame. Will this young man with a leader’s heart ever get the patience and coaching he deserves? The Jets aren’t going anywhere. Might as well entertain the fans. Good luck Timmy

Denver’s defense won those games last year. They scored 18 or less in most of those wins. The defense has not played well this year. Are you really comparing tebow to peyton manning? Tebow started a few games for a team that won in spite of him, peyton manning is going to be in the hall of fame. f tebow was better than manning why did elway get rid of him and sign manning? he did it because you have to be able to throw the ball to be a QB. Peyton manning at 50% is better than tebow ever will be as a QB.

sanchez isnt a great passer himself. and he is no leader. a skirt chaser, yes.

tebow has been werking with the scout team and 2nd stringers. more 2nd stringers playing this week already…

tebow is still a passing work in progress. but he is easily more of a leader than snatchez.

I feel like Tebow only works when he has weapons to utilize. The Jets dont have Demarious Thomas or Willis McGahee. They have Shonn and Chaz. Any credibility that Tebow garnered with the Broncos is going to get canceled out by the Jets.

The media makes me dread tebow time coming. I hear more about Tebow than any other player ever and somehow they manage to find ways to talk about him even if he plays for 3 downs more than Tom Brady. I imagine if or when he takes over it will be over the top reporting to a level that makes me shudder.
