Remember when the Colts used to be a perenial “Powerhouse”?

These moves were made because of injuries to starters OLB Robert Mathis, DE Fili Moala and back up NT Martin Tevaseu. Apparantly none of the injuries were bad enough to end their seasons but who knows how much time each of them will miss. Plus thank GOD Justin King is gone. I think Cassius Vaughn’s performance was good enough to dump him.

You just contradicted yourself. Either these moves will make a difference or they won’t but you can’t have it both ways.

Dixon can come in and contribute if he’s in shape. He was a solid rotation guy in Philly and started for almost a full season due to injuries, before he had his own injury problems. He won’t get much pressure up the middle on pass downs, but he will occupy blockers and help stuff the run.

It would be nice if the Lions would churn their roster up a bit. The bottom 5 or so guys that suit up every week haven’t been contributing very well.
