APAs the Michigan Wolverines prepare to play Illinois on Saturday, the team’s coaching staff will wear CHUCKSTRONG T-shirts purchased from the Colts’ official website.
According to ESPN.com, coach Brady Hoke bought 40 of the T-shirts, which will be worn during the day leading up to the game but not during the game itself. The staff possibly will wear the shirts during warmups.
Hoke’s defensive coordinator, Greg Mattison, previously served as the Ravens’ defensive coordinator, when Colts coach Chuck Pagano worked as secondary coach. Mattison’s departure resulted in Pagano’s promotion. After one year, Pagano was hired to coach the Colts.

Michigan has always been a classy and respected program. Love this
Works for me, nice reward for the Colts that beat the rival Packers last weekend, good timing!
Go Bucs, screw the blue
Lousy college team, lousy pro team. Seems about right. Misery loves company.
I still despise Michigan just a lot less. Pretty classy move.
Thank you from a Notre Dame loving Colts fan.
Those of you that feel the need to post garbage on an article of this nature must lead a pretty miserable existence. Sometimes football is just a game, and this is a very classy move about showing support for someone regardless of who they pull for come game time. I’m also a Notre Dame fan, in case you felt the need to justify my disdain for you by assuming I was a Michigan troll or something ridiculous like that. Shame on you
Spartan fan here. Agree with ddog that I still generally despise UM, but this is a classy move. Tip of the cap to them for this.
