Cleveland deserves their ranking but they have more hope than many other bad teams. They now have a QB and RB. Their defense will be better when Haden and Taylor return. I think they will be much like Miami last year, a bad that ends up a very competitve 5-11 or 6-10 type team.

Most Viking’s fans don’t base their self worth on the championships of a team that they watch on TV three hours a week for half the year.

I don’t blame Ryan for losing in the playoffs – his defense has played poorly in his 3 games – but I do blame Ryan for playing poorly in those losses.
For whatever reason, he produces *well below* his season averages in yards, TDs, etc.

Overrated? I’m a patriot fan BUT the patriots are not overrated. I’m proud of them this year. They have an improved defense,strong in the passing game as always and the running game is phynominal compared to recent years. With improved defense and running game Brady can throw 180 yards and we win. Last year if Brady threw 180 we were in trouble. Now I feel it gives us Super Bowl hope to win because it takes pressure off of Tom to win the game for us from start to finish but rather we r a more complete team and Brady will have mental strength to play excellent in the fourth quarter and long term in the playoffs or better yet to help preserve our QB for more years of success!-Kasey

Knock Matt Ryan all you want for not winning a playoff game yet, as he has not. But don’t sit here and tell me that Joe Flacco “wins” playoff games. The Ravens defense and running game won each and every one of those games so just stop. (He did have a fantastic game against the Patriots last year, but they lost that game)

Fine. Joe Flacco doesn’t “win” playoff games. His team does all the winning without him. How pathetic is Ryan then? He can’t even get out of the way long enough to let his team win like Flacco does! Matt Ryan is 5 years in and his last playoff outing was a supreme failure as the defense scored all of their measly 2 points. I’m pretty sure Flacco could’ve done that too.

Yes, the Vikings beat the 49ers that day, and deserve full credit. But the Vikings also nearly lost to the pathetic Jags AT HOME, and needed a big specials teams day to beat Detroit. They beat a rookie QB on a 1-15 from last year. Meanwhile, since the defeat, the Niners have crushed.

Bottom line — very few people buy that the Vikings will be going deep this year and if the Niners and Vikes lined up to play 10 times, you won’t convince anyone that the Vikes would win the majority.

Let’s see what Minnesota does this year and I personally hope for a rematch in January.

I didn’t see any comments from Vikings fans complaining that they were ranked behind the 49ers. The complaints were about the snide comment made by the comedian who makes the rankings.

Since your blind fanboyism for the Steelers seems to block your understanding of football, let me clear a few things up for you.

1. The Ravens have lost 1 game all season. That’s right. 5 games, 4-1, vs 4 games, 2-2 for the Steelers.

2. If you want to go by these power rankings, the Ravens are ahead of the Steelers by seven spots.

3. My personal favorite statistic – THE RAVENS SWEPT THE STEELERS LAST YEAR.

4. The Ravens swept the Steelers last year. Sorry, you just seem to forget that one so I decided to make sure you remembered.

5. “Joe Whacko” is #5 in the league in passing yards. Raplistberger is down at #21. And in yards per game, he takes the last spot in the top 10.

6. “They were lucky to beat the horrible teams that are ranked 26 and 32.” At least the Ravens were oh-so-lucky to beat them, and they didn’t lost to them like the Steelers did to the Raiders.

7. “They will get hammered by the Steelers twice, and at least once by the Bengals.” *sigh* see #3… or #4… or pretty much any other number. But in case you forgot, the Ravens beat the Bengals 44-13 in this year’s Monday Night Football opener, so they almost definitely won’t get “hammered” by the Bengals. Oh, and if you’re talking about last year’s season opener, the Ravens beat the Steelers 35-7. You seem to have forgotten that too.

8. The ONLY time the Ravens have lost this season, it was an away road game coming off a short week against the #13 team (only one rank below your beloved Steelers) and STILL, the Ravens only lost by 1 point.

9. “You fear Nov 18, don’t lie.” Pretty sure the guy you were talking to wouldn’t fear a Ravens – Steelers game he’s not playing in. Oh, and no way the Ravens would fear that day because the Ravens have completely kicked the Steeler’s asses recently. The last time the Steelers beat the Ravens was during the 2010 season. Since then, it’s been all Ravens. And in their last 4 regular season match ups, the Ravens have been 3-1.

10. Get over yourself and your over-the-hill team. The last time the Steelers were good was over 2 years ago. Talk to me when your crappy franchise gets good again.
