Love the drafting by Schneider and carrol really outside of John modify every pick they seem to make has been a big time contributor. Once they got carpenter into a spot that made sense even he has looked good. And man oh man go Bruce Irvin 4.5 sacks so far keep it up bro

Well deserved. With that being said it’s becoming more apparent that the voters dont care about sacks as evidenced by Cameron Wake getting 4.5 sacks 2 weeks ago and Robert Quin getting 3 this past week and not winning honors

Good for Peanut, but I wonder why he got the award over Briggs? They both had identical stats from Sunday, except that Briggs had an additional QB sack. Also, the Jags wide receivers aren’t exactly scaring anybody. The award should have been “shared” between them- it would only be appropriate.

This guy has a burning desire to “capture” the ball like a field general wants to capture the enemies flag. Very underrated and is playing this year without many of the nagging injuries from years past. Bears corners are tough. Jennings from a few weeks ago and now Peanut. Who’s next? Conte and Wright? Probably

I love this guy….he always plays smart and plays hard and ends up causing a turnover just about every other game. Glad to see him getting some more recognition.

That said, I wouldn’t be surprised to see him and the other CB Tim Jennings make the Pro Bowl together (of course, they won’t be able to play because the Bears will be in the Superbowl!)
