People need to stop comparing the Patriots’ punishment to the Saints’. Did the Patriots lose their SB-winning coach for even one game? No. They got a slap on the wrist in comparison. You can’t even begin to compare what the two franchises were put through because it’s not even in the same stratosphere.

Please name one of these players that the Saints injured intentionally. Your entire paragraph was overly dramatic and not based in facts but yet you think you know so much about what really happened.

The players going on and on to deny it just puts into question their personal morals and reliability. As Shakespeare would say, THY PROTESTETH TOO MUCH. Meaning they deny it so emphatically they must be guilty. Like a child caught stealing cookies from the cookie jar and denying it with crumbs all over their fat faces.

sooo…the vikes had nooothing to do with that lost. lets just focus on what happened BEFORE what you are claiming since that occurred during overtime. During the course of quarters one thru four the vikes fumbled multiple times…and during the last drive in regulation your team had 12 men on the field, then your quarterback threw a pass your pop warner coach tell you not to throw. To add insult to injury if you look at that play on film… your quarterback could have ran for atleast 10 yards and get out of bounds. Soooo PLEASE I know you only want to focus on overtime but your team even after multiple turnovers…12 men on the field penalty could have won it in regulation… but didn’t.

The average fan isn’t as upset about the fact that an idiot coach and a few idiot players messed up as they are about:

1) The fact that nearly a quarter of the games this season were run by the unqualified and sometimes inept “replacement refs” – all because Roger Goodell decided to lock them out.

2) The fact that we almost missed games last season because of the lockout saga.

3) The fact that Goodell just won’t leave a good product alone. Football was just fine before Sir Roger came into town. But now we’ve got to try to have expansion into the UK – something the teams don’t want. An 18-game season. Pink ribbons on the players. Massive fines for franchises for violating the spirit of “unwritten rules.”

Goodell is a disaster.

And for the idiots who keep saying “Sean Payton didn’t fight it…blah blah blah” He couldn’t fight it! There’s no coaches union. The coaches work for the teams/NFL. Oh and he did speak out against it as much has he could and he appealed.

So if you’re so sick of the story or the Saints…or Brees. Stop clicking the stories! Keep it moving. But if you choose to say something, at least know what you’re talking about.
