Think that tradition might be flipping on its head. The Ravens D is middle of the road to bad. Without Suggs the Ravens just arent getting to the QB. The pass defense is in the bottom 5. They are still winning because they are playing great offense. But the one good defense they’ve played, they lost to. They get the Texans next week. We’ll find out who the best team in the AFC is that day, win or lose.

Folks all this is, is an attempt for Ray to help fire his team up. I wish the Cowboys could find a leader as good and as effective as he is. Ray knows what he is doing and Vickers is taking the bait to help fuel the entire Ravens team to beat the Cowboys.

Once again Bill Hicks shows just how uninformed he is about football, that or he’s just butt hurt because the Ravens beat his patriots. Bill why don’t you go and look up how many starters on the Ravens defense are over 30 then get back to me. The number is pretty low.

Maybe Bill you should just leave football to us Americans, you canadian types never seem able to really understand football.

Just what Dallas didn’t need is another player that talks big but doesn’t back it up. So far Vickers has been a disappointment at FB blocking for Murray.

I would have to agree that neither side deserves to do this gum flapping. I’ve only watched the one Cowboys game from the opener so I can’t say much about them, but I will say this about the Ravens run defense: their locker room at halftime against KC may have been the turning point for their run defense. Green-Ellis, McCoy, Ridley, and Richardson all had very solid games and then Charles absolutely gashed them the first half with some good spelling carries from Droughn. After giving up 170+ yds on the ground in the first half, they held the Chiefs to 35 on 15 carries in the second half. Also, the only guys in that front 7 with a lot of game time experience RECENTLY are Lewis, Ngata, and McClain. Kruger, Upshaw, McClellan, McPhee are all big contributors for the first time in their careers and Kemoeatu is back after being out of the league for a year. These guys are still learning to set the edge successfully, but IMO they are slowly getting better every week. I think all this has a lot to do with that 20th ranking.

How bout dem Cowboys?! I wouldn’t be surprised to see Romo take the Ravens to the woodshed. Ravens were lucky to beat the Clowns and the Chiefs, 2 of the worst teams in the NFL. But even if the Ravens lose, the team will still probably give the coach a gatorade bath. They are used to doing that during the regular season, since they don’t get much chance during the post-season. Ravens should look at their remaining schedule and count on being about 6-10 at the end.
