I’m predicting another let down by the Redskins and their shoddy defense and a possible Shanahan firing in the off season due to a overall 13-24 record.

The Vikes have shut down MJD, Frank Gore and Chris Johnson, so Im not to worried about Morris. While Morris has been great this year, he’s only played in 5 games, and is definately not considered better than any of those other 3 RB’s. The Vikes D has been insane the last 3 weeks, Ponder has been one of the best QB’s in the NFL so far, and AP and Harvin are just complete beast. Couple that with the fact that RGIII is coming off of a concussion, and will probably not be running as much, and Im really not too worried about the Vikes losing to the Skins.

If the Falcons have beaten up on a weakened AFC West why did you pick both Denver and S.D. to beat them? Atlanta played on a Monday Night and traveled to defeat the Chargers. Then after traveling home played a Panthers team that had ten days off after playing on a Thursday night.

Washington wasn’t close to winning that game. The only seven points that their offense scored came after RGIII was injured. I know you aren’t informed about EVERY team but you’d think you’d inform yourselves a bit before writing about a team. How tough is that?

Why are people blind to the Viking’s talent? Kalil has solidified the O-line and proven himself the best pick of the draft. AD is elite as is Harvin. Best D-line in football with Allen and Williams. Excellent secondary. Excellent special teams. The Vikes are better at this point in every position group.
After everyone including the “experts” here picking them as the worst team in the league, I know it’s hard to open your eyes to the facts, but it’s becoming truly embarrassing that people are just too lazy to actually evaluate objectively, and this is a very talented team. Not deep, injuries may eventually do them in, but this team has real elite talent throughout the roster. Their success is NOT a fluke.
For the record, I’m a lifelong Bears fan, and have rooted against the Vikes for more years than most of you have been alive. But my eyes still work fine… y’all need to open yours.

I am a Seahawk fan and I can’t see how they will score 14 or 17 pts on the Pats, unless:

(a) our defense scores those points, or (b) Wilson is knocked out of the game and Flynn takes over.

I do believe Wilson will be a “good” QB one day, but that day will not come this year.

lol guess theres a lot of vikes fans on here today to shoot down my logical statistical post. Vikes aren’t a bad team but they’ve played Tenn, Colts, Det, Jax. Not quite elite yet. Skins only real weak area is pass D….and theyve faced 3 great passing offenses already. Vikes passing O not quite on same level. Think Skins match up well.

RG3 had a whopping 91 yards passing and no TDs in 3 quarters of football. The only reason the game was close was because his backup finally threw a td pass and a fluke defensive score.

Oakland has two possible hopes:

1) Run the ball a lot, sustain drives, eat clock & keep Atlanta’s explosive offense on the sidelines similar to what the Giants did to Buffalo’s K-Gun in the “Wide Right” Super Bowl. (Too lazy to look up which number)

2) A hostage situation cancels the game or causes Atlanta to forfeit

Whatever. I don’t know. There’s not enough alcohol in the world to help me deal with this team.

I bleed Cowboy blue and haven’t missed a Sunday of football in 30 years. I will be rooting like holy hell for my team but I just don’t see, based on how they’ve been playing, the Cowboys winning Sunday. I hope I’m wrong…

Also, how are the giants getting 6.5?? I hate the giants. I hope they never win another game, EVER. I really hope they lose Sunday but I really think they keep this one close.

As for the Dolphins, with the exception of week 1 they have played VERY well and fight to the end of every game. Very impressed with them.

this should be a great game and good barometer of where we stand this season.

I see nothing more than 2 solid football teams duking it out and am glad to see this rivalry of sorts as one of this week’ s headliners. One thing that’s odd with both teams is that the pass rush isn’t close to what it was last season. These teams match up well and this should be a classic.

I hope both sides remain healthy both entering and leaving this game. I hope Alex and Nicks are both good to go so we can both be relatively close to full strength.
