When it comes to football, the only thing final about a game is the final score. The stats can and do change, and a pair of them did this week.

According to John McClain of the Houston Chronicle, the Elias Sports Bureau has stripped a sack from Texans defensive end J.J. Watt. The play in question happened in Week One against the Dolphins, concluding that a tackle behind the line of quarterback Ryan Tannehill actually was tackle for loss on a designed running play.

Also, ESPN.com reports that the Elias Sports Bureau has credited a touchdown pass to Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger on what had been determined to be a touchdown run by Rashard Mendenhall on a lateral.

Though the former removes the current NFL sack lead from Watt, the latter could alter the outcome of fantasy games everywhere.
