If CJ0.8K is dependent on his offensive line, then he should re-distribute some of that massive paycheck to the big guys up front.

I admit that I haven’t watched many of the Titans games but Mayock pointed out a few things in replay that just showed the O-line creating huge holes in the middle but Johnson at times runs right or left into his own blockers and defenders. It was only a few plays but elite backs have that vision to turn those 8-10 yard plays into 30 plus or TD’s. Kenny Britt looked more like a problem than Johnson last in my eyes.

I just don’t think he’s a good fit with that particular offensive line. They’re good pass-blockers, and good run-blockers, but they aren’t athletic enough to complement Johnson’s speed.

I feel an 0-line like the one in Denver, New England, or Baltimore would be a better complimentary line for Johnson to run behind. I also feel Tennessee would benefit from a power back.

Actually if you watched the game, Mayock pointed out several runs where he was hesitant and could have really busted one. Even with good blocking, this guy is not going to be worth $10M next year.

It’s good CJ to give credit to the big men in front of you. They gave you 91 yards.

Now, can you run in the holes instead of in your linemen? Can you run straight instead of jumping right, jumping left and get tackled?

You could have and the night with 150 yards and a couple of TDs…

CJ was at his best when he hit the hole with little or no cutting. He needs to knock off the dancing and realize he is not Barry Sanders. With that being said I would love to see Chris Palmer call more pass plays for him especially screens

Good game 10 a c. The OL did their job to a team that was favorite to win. 91 yards would have brought up my confidence also. CJ2K needs to stop talking to the media. I can’t believe someone from Orlando, Fl speaks the way he does.
10 a c, send this young man to some speech classes. With all that money, I would go myself if I was him.

Clearly CJ is dejected a bit. Goal line TD might help, from the one? Instead he gets one shot, that he worked well for, and then Harper. They should have pounded it 4 times with CJ if need be, for no reason other than to get his confidence up. He ran well last night though.

I sort’ve agree they maybe should’ve given CJ another shot to get the td & go to Harper on 3rd down if need be. But CJ did not get them to the 1. It was a blocked punt. But Harper is a big, physical runner & I can’t fault them for going to him early to punch it in. Honestly, I wouldn’t mind if they gave the kid a few more carries throughout the game, I think he’s pretty good.

For all the grief Johnson gets, he’s always been good about crediting his offensive line when he’s doing well personally.

The stats? It’s still about Chris Palmer, to me. Even on a night when they are running the ball pretty effectively and the game was always close, they still dropped back to pass (including a Hasselbeck scramble) 45 out of 69 plays.

Palmer may be a QB’s best friend, but he’s not going to make many RBs look good with the way he calls games.
