Nah, he’s good. Always has been. Not sure what Cincinnati was thinking in letting him go a few years back.

But their offensive LINE gets away with murder, never getting called for holding. Especially Staley and Davis.

Classic Raven’s tactic of cry your eyes out to the officials and press before a game and create an environment where a good player on the opposing team comes under a microscope.

It works but its so classless and more like something a small child would do tattling on somebody that they think is going to show them up.

Meh, JS gets held more than he “gets away with murder”. Watch the film. Smith is getting double-triple teamed every game. I doubt he even gives a rip because Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks are getting sacks and they are winning.

Since the MINN wake up call, opponents have scored 3 points on them. I think that matters more to him. Obviously the Giants are NOT the Jets or the Bills and Sunday’s game should be a good game. NY comes into SF a bit nicked up so that certainly gives an advantage to SF along with it being at home. OTOH, NY has PM and salsa cabana boy so anything can happen.

Used to be a DT on the Rams, can’t recall his name, who would do this all the time. Line up across from the guard, engage with the guard at the snap, but also reach out and grab the inside part of the OT’s shoulder pads to keep him from getting a block on the DE.

Holmgren pointed this out to the officials before the game, much like Gilbride did (but less publicly), and got a critical defensive holding call when the guy tried to do it to Walter Jones on a third down play.
