I can honestly tell you that interest here in Toronto is off the hook, I don’t know about the rest of the country, just here.

They’ve been asking people here to shell out 300-500 a pop to watch two teams that aren’t from here, and they weren’t far from selling out.

Imagine the Bills and the Pats playing in Miami and charging fans there 300-500 a pop.

See what I mean?

The Jaguars are averaging over 64k for three home games so far this year. They rank 22nd right now in the league in per-game attendance, ahead of both other teams that play in the state of Florida.

Khan is a self-made billionaire for a reason. He is a good business man. He knows playing a game in London will help him make money and help expand the brand of his team. He’s doing the same thing locally. This preseason, the team’s games were shown in over half the state of Florida and also in markets in Alabama, Georgia and the Carolinas. He also had caravans with players and coaches that went to those out of town markets.

Jax is behind their team. Their team is just awful, especially at home.

One game in London is good. Two might work as well. It would make sense to have them back-to-back in London or maybe one in London then one in Ireland, so the Jags don’t have to travel back and forth from the states.

More than two games a season will be pushing it though.

“If you think about it, London is no further from the East Coast teams that San Francisco is,” Khan said. “There is no geographic issue. Teams used to get on trains to in the Midwest to play West Coast teams and that was a longer journey than London would be.”

This is ridiculously unfair to west coast teams that have to travel to London, which is what Khan seems to not realize. This is not just about East coast teams
