Geez, the dog can’t eat the homework of every kid in class. They need to come up with other excuses because now when you hear Adderall youre pretty sure he’s covering something up. And how is abusing an ampathetamine any better than steroids? That’s what happened to the mom in Requiem for a Dream! Jennifer Connelly was hot in that movie, but you felt sort of guilty if you thought she was hot.

Think Roger needs to make Adderall either a substance abuse drug or make it legal as it is the new catch all for any player getting caught on the perf side of the ban….who knows how many of these dudes are actually getting caught for Adderall. I saw Mike Neal in person and that dude definetly does not look natural almost pro wrestler level – if only it could actually help him play….

Wow what an idiot. I really dont care that he took some aderall its just the pure stupidity that bothers me. How didnt he know that he would be “randomly” drug tested? The guy was just getting over possibly being charged with attempted murder with a deadly weapon. Of course the league is going to be watching you like a hawk. Only a idiot would take a banned substance and think he might get away with it after the things he was involved with this off-season.

The real story here should actually be the potential violation of the cba. Because I find it pretty hard to believe that after the things Talib went through this off season that he just happened to be one of the few players randomly picked to take a drug test at the beginning of training camp. That’s to big of a coincidence for me to believe.

while adderall could def help as a ped to study film and learn plays, odds are players are using it to get high. 30mg pill of adderall crushed and then snorted is almost as strong and feels very similar. Adderall is speed! it it amphetamine salts meaning the players are using it to get tweaked and not as a ped!!! failing for use of this should be held the same way as a player with any drug and substance abuse issues.

if adderal isn’t for ped use (cough), then is it fair to say that a majority of the players have ADD?
the NFL should look into PSA’s for ADD awareness and treatment if it is truly not PED based usage.

Say for instance Aqib Talib is being truthful that he took an Aderall with out a script just before training camp. Not that I ever condone his actions. The NFL suspends him today more than 5 weeks later , on a late Saturday afternoon right before game day. The NFL didn’t know this on Monday or before the court of Goodell rested late Friday afternoon? Something stinks.

Yes, taking any PED is wrong, and the player should be punished. But does anyone find it completely bass ackwards that this guy gets 4 games (for his first violation I believe, same as Haden) yet Dez Bryant gets nothing for beating his mother?!!!! Or Michael Turner getting popped for DUI and then playing the next game?! Or shoot, Dante Stallworth kills a guy while driving drunk yet he came back in the league!!! 4 games for a pill makes no sense when you look at the guys above!

dude adderall stays in your system for 3 days either ur extremely stupid and dont pay attention to when u get drug tested, or u abuse the hell out of it, and lastly your probably lying. If you love the pill so much go see a doctor they gladly prescribe anything now a days

Whether or not these players are really taking Adderall, did they all miss the memo that they’re regularly drug tested? If I worked in that kind of environment, I wouldn’t buy breath mints without clearing it with the main office… maybe there’s something in “Retsyn” that makes a roll of Certs off-limits.

I can relate.

I also “mistakenly” take prescription drugs that I don’t have a prescription for, after “mistakenly” purchasing them second hand from somebody else and “mistakenly” putting them in my mouth.

I mean, prescription drugs are hard NOT to take by accident. I thought I was eating Cheerios this morning, but it turns out, I had accidentally filled my bowl with penicillin instead of cereal. Oops!
