@chi01town—you are a football genius. 5 games into the season and you are disregarding 7 years of quarterback play. My guess is Cutler will be right at that stellar rating of 83.6 at seasons end. Also Woodstock, the poster said “championships”. The Packers have 13—-easily the most. Keep hating folks, all it means is that the Packers franchise is still the gold standard.

Rodgers: I get the sense that he does feel that way, yes. I think in some respects he is right. For whatever reason the rookies have not picked up what the practice tempo looks like, or the importance of the scout team looks as well as maybe it’s been in the past. I don’t know if Mike said that in his press conference but he definitely mentioned that in our team meeting. And we’ve talked about that a number of times, and I know my role in practice is that I have to bring energy and life to that practice and I have to be moving around well. It’s tough on some days when you’re tired and you’ve been preparing until late at night and you’re up early. But there are really no excuses when it comes to the quarterback position and making sure that you do every role that you’re called on to the best of your abilities. That being said, there needs to be a level of professionalism that is current through the entire team from the veterans to the rookies that they kind of understand how each part of the day adds to the preparation. And I think that it can definitely be improved on their standpoint from an assignment and a tempo side of practice.

I am a Lion’s fan…yes…and our glory days came before I was alive. I have a friend who is an eagles fan…and the only thing I have to say to him…is that we have 4 world championships and they have three…neither have a superbowl.

That being said…how are we calling the Bears a championship team? They have won one more superbowl than the lions. The Giants and Steelers are in a completely different class.

Take a look at how well a Capers coached defense does after one, two, three, and fours years. You don’t need a chart. It’s down, down, down, and down. Rodgers knows what he is talking about. The haters are too quick to hate. Rodgers is getting blasted as though he were making excuses. He’s not. He’s just telling it like it is. Would you rather he was like Romney and just said what you wanted to hear?

Maybe Finley might try and not drop 2 or 3 passes a game and block nothing but air before he opens his mouth. Packers biggest offensive problem is their offensive line couldn’t block a peewee league defensive lineman. Rodgers is running for his life at the snap of the ball.
