APOK, so we’re not really going to call Rams rookie kicker Greg Zuerlein Shanks-a-tron.
Unless, of course, this streak lasts as long as the other one.
Zuerlein missed his second straight field goal just before half, and the Dolphins lead the Rams 10-6.
The news of the day is the way the Rams have run the ball, gaining 137 yards on the ground in the first half. The Dolphins entered the game leading the league in rush defense, allowing just 61.4 yards per game on the ground.
But with the St. Louis offense bogging down in the red zone, and Zuerlein looking human after a 15-of-15 start, the Dolphins have the edge.

This is the Dolphins game to win/lose
The rams are pathetic.
The Dolphins didn’t win that game. The Rams beat themselves. They’re young, will learn, correct. If any of those FG were in, Miami would be out of luck again. That’s what’s great about football. Any team can lose on any day.
And if the Dolphins had just scored more touchdowns, the Rams wouldn’t have been close. You don’t get points for “ifs,” only plays made. The scoreboard at the end of the game is the only thing that matters. This season, Dolphins fans know that only too well…
