Five throws, two picks for Matt Ryan

Falcons receiver Roddy White told Dan Patrick this week that quarterback Matt Ryan no longer wants to be known as “Matty Ice.”

The shoe fits on Sunday, given that through the early stages of Sunday’s game against the Raiders, Ryan is ice cold.  (I’ll be here all week.  And pretty much every week.  Deal with it.)

Ryan has thrown five passes.  Three have been completed.  Two have been intercepted.

The Raiders converted the most recent pick into a 52-yard field goal from Sebastian Jankikowski.  They lead 3-0.

This guy is the most overrated player in the NFL. Give Joe Flacco the weapons Ryan has to work with and he’d probably have won a superbowl by now. Think White or Jones would have dropped that TD against New England?

So much for that 3-0 lead..

Flacco has the weapons and a better D. That argument is terribly flawed.

Comparing Joe flacco and Matt Ryan is actually a pretty good comparison. Both drafted onto teams with weapons, flacco has had a better defense, and thus more playoff wins. Neither is an amazing qb.

Yup, we all know how you “do it”. First, you start by throwing a pick six. Then you allow your opponents to march down the field and score to take a lead.

Wait, By “do it”, you meant lose a game, right?
