Kolb has a rib injury

Kevin Kolb AP

Cardinals quarterback Kevin Kolb exited Sunday’s overtime loss to the Bills with an injury.  Which gave Week One starter John Skelton a chance to reclaim his job.

Skelton failed.

He completed only two of 10 passes for 45 yards, and an interception in overtime that gave Buffalo the ball deep in Arizona territory.  The Bills converted the turnover into a game-winning field goal.

The team tells PFT that Kolb is being evaluated for a rib/chest injury.  A league source tells PFT that it’s a rib injury.  Based on Sketon’s performance on Sunday, the Cardinals need Kolb.

Time will tell whether they get him.

This team’s early success seemed very fluky all along. They are who we thought they were…

He should get a flack jacket like Mike Vick has.Vick has the worst offensive line in the NFL and has been taking a beating but the jacket keeps him going.

    Oh, I’m shocked!

    Done for life.

Let’s pray that Kolb’s injury isn’t serious. The Cardinals won’t have a prayer w/out him.
Porta-John completes just 50% of his passes and has 13 td’s and 18 picks for his career. With Arizona’s O-line thats a recipe for disaster.

Skelton was winning last season as the starting qb! Has everyone forgot that? He has not played since week 1, and his 1 completion ws to Fitz for a game winning FG that Feeley missed! Please tell the WHOLE STORY!

It is funny they just lost to the Buffalo Bills, because the Cards are going to be this years Buffalo Bills. Great start, poor finish.

Matt Moore had a winning record last year. So did kordell Stewart back in the day. And Vince young. Skelton just wins!

So now are we to believe that Kolb is the answer and not Skelton?

What’s the difference between a rib injury and a rib/chest injury?

    Aren’t they the same thing?

Give me a break…Skelton hasn’t been playing and was suppose to come in and rescue a game that was doomed and on life support. Kolb made his exit just in time to keep from getting credit for the loss!. Congratulations to Larry Fitzgerald who got his 10,000 yards! TERRIBLE GAME! Whoever the genius was who decided to let the Bills stay in Arizona
and practice so they wouldn’t have to be road weary spotted them the points to win this one…I vote we blame Goodell for that too! LOL!

Kudos to the Bills for hanging in there and winning a tough game on the road. Bummed me out, but you have to give them credit. They stuck it out.

Skelton threw the exact same interception on the same play call Kolb did earlier in the game. Doesn’t OC Mike Miller know this or did he just forget that the Bills had this play pegged by film study? Exact same play and exact same result!
