With that being said, it’s too bad a clear, blatant hold on Greenway blitzing up the middle goes uncalled on the 76 yard “Black Jesus” touchdown run.

I’m happy with 4-2, the Vikings have 2 winnable games coming up and have a good chance of being 7-3 at the bye before their brutal stretch of schedule starts. A LOT better than most people thought.

Every player in the NFL, especially defensive players knows that “the second guy always gets the flag”. Players try to get under each other’s skin after every play in the NFL (or at any level of football really).

If Hall could have riled Peterson up enough to get AP to remove his helmet, shove Hall back, or throw the football at him, it would essentially be the same as tackling him for a fifteen yard loss in the backfield. Causing the offense to commit personal fouls is; as I said, for better or for worse; an important part of playing defense in the NFL today.

As a guy with a lot of respect for Adrian Peterson, a talented and level-headed veteran running back, I’m honestly surprised he even brought this up as an “issue”. And as a former high school football player, I can with absolute certainty that much worse things have been done to him on the football field than a helmet slap. The announcers always say things like “you don’t want to know what happens in those loose ball dogpiles”, and they’re right, you really don’t.

Not at all. The loss was clearly the fault of the rookies on our scout team.

RG3 is a smart QB. Like many smart
QBs, he is constantly lobbying for roughing calls every time he is touched.

But, RG3 took this one step further. He flopped, and then crowed proudly for being rewarded for his flop. Great.

That is Duke basketball. That is Italian soccer. That is Bobby Heenan. That is not the NFL.

Ohh so scared of a football team that plays in New Jersey. Worst and most useless state on the entire east coast by the way.

I cannot wait for this Sunday. All this chatter coming from Washington DC, just like all the chatter coming from San Fran.

OK, so 79 yards for Adrian Peterson is good all of a sudden? One of the league’s premier RBs is held to under 100 yards and is kept out of the endzone. If I’m the Redskins defense, I’ll take that ALL DAY. As far as the 50 receiving, I’d like to know how much of that happened in the fourth quarter…it seemed that the Redskins went into prevent and he was getting garbage time dump offs.

If that’s a good game from Peterson, then I don’t see the Vikings maintaining the hot start to their season….

And when you whine, it’s really unbecoming. And I hate DeAngelo Hall as much as anybody else.

As for DHall, I rewatched the tape, the only thing he slapped was AD’s emotions. You let a 5’9 190 lbs corner tackle you by himself? I love how as soon as DHall’s name is mentioned, everyone already assumes he’s the bad guy.
