I think this pertains to tge chargers more, its not how you start a game, its how you finish. Not gonna take the win away from my broncos but the chargers flat out laid an egg second half.

Another Mission Valley Meltdown! Rivers is making how many million per year to play like that? Norv, here is a clue, when up by 24 points, it not enough, get more points. Every other team in the league adjusts there game at halftime, why cant you? How about sacking Manning once or twice to rattle the guy a bit. I am trying real hard to still be a fan, but when you have a game like this, I might well be a Raider fan and lose with dignity!
On a positive note, Ryan Matthews did not fumble or do too bad tonight.

Does anyone really think Rivers is a top tier NFL QB? How about the Chargers being a real contender to win the division?

Can’t see either one and if the window closing talk is appropriate for the Cowboys, then it looks like the Chargers have had their storm windows nailed and bolted shut by Father Time and the rest of the NFL.

And just think, the Chargers kicked out Drew Brees to keep Rivers! That’s like drafting Sam Bowie ahead of Jordan because Jordan was not good enough to be a starter over the players they already had on the Blazers’ roster.

Why does gruden keep calling Peyton “the sheriff”? I have never heard anyone else reference Manning as “the sheriff”. Can we agree that this Monday night crew is the most annoying crew covering the NFL? I mean at least Simms and collinsworth have decent partners… Espn sucks…
