My guess is nobody there was entirely innocent. The true test of character is how he has acted since. He met his legal obligations, avoided further illegal activity, and focused anew on building Hall of Fame credentials. In my mind, this has been a more difficult test of character than some who seldom make mistakes. Of course he should be judged, but on redemption as well as errors.

He’s had an outstanding run, and I do know he was in it for one more championship ring before giving it up.
He was a true beast on the field – the off-field BS aside (folks really, really need to let that go – it’s old and besides he’s no Rae Carruth) and I’m pretty sure he’ll make it into the HOF first ballot, no doubt about it. In addition I’m quite sure he’ll line up a nice fat broadcasting gig (preferably NOT on TMZN network)
