Ravens should be 2-3 right now. Yes, I do believe the Ravens will go 3-6 AFTER they get blasted by the Texans this week. Even if they go 9-7 or 10-6 they will lose in the first round of the playoffs. They are good at that (losing in the playoffs). No defense.

------------------------------------------------

Doesn't matter what you think their record "should" be right now. Their record is 5-1. End of story.

(Besides, your comments already reflect a rather slanted view to begin with.)

The Ravens offense has shown they can now concentrate more on outscoring their opponents, versus scoring merely enough so the defense can control the flow of the game otherwise. I'm not saying they're invincible or anything, but they will still win a bunch more games than they lose the rest of the way. That's what good teams do - they overcome injuries and issues within the team.

So the Ravens would be, in your own words, “lucky” to win three more games the rest of the season? Do you really think the Steelers, with all their injuries and issues, will beat the Ravens twice? Do you truly believe that their only wins the rest of the way will be against the likes of Cleveland, Washington, and Oakland?

I certainly expect the Ravens to be pasted this weekend in Houston. But I also don’t think it’s crazy to think they’ll still manage to win double-digit games this year, and even secure one of the top two playoff spots come January. They’ve already got a two-game edge over New England in addition to beating them head-to-head, and Denver and San Diego are mediocre teams. Who else steps up in the AFC?

Ravens will be lucky to go 8-8 this year. Everyone already knew they can be run on, now without Webb QB’s will be licking their chops. Can’t wait to hear all the excuses after the season why the Ravens failed once again to get to the Super Bowl.

Lewis = Done
Webb = Done
Suggs = Won’t be a factor on one leg
Window = Closed

Ravens defense gave up over 400 yards (yes over 400 yards!!) rushing in the last two games - and that was with Webb and Lewis in the field. The "paper" Texans almost beat you in the playoffs last year with a 3rd string QB, next week the "paper" running backs are going to embarrass the swiss cheese Ravens defense even worse. They've been exposed for what they are - over-the-hill and overrated and over-injured. Ravens Sunday's of squeeking out wins against average teams are done.

No to rush it Suggsie. Turns out the Texans were just paper champions.

I guess that stretch without Sugar Ray last year with McClain at the helm was a good thing. It shows that the team is equipped to live up to the ”next man up” mantra.

Webbs' loss is a disaster. Those other young corners just aren't ready to perform consistently.
