The Broncos will be short in the secondary tonight in San Diego, as starter Tracy Porter was downgraded to out because of an illness and didn’t travel with the team.

According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, Porter showed up at the Broncos facility intending to travel, but was dizzy and light-headed and wasn’t taken along.

In his absence, the Broncos will start either Tony Carter or Chris Harris, a man down against a team that’s willing to spread the field.
