X-rays negative, MRI coming for Kolb

After the Arizona Cardinals got a glimmer of John Skelton post-ankle injury (two for 10 with a pick), they likely have renewed appreciation for Kevin Kolb.

But Kolb has a rib injury, the severity of which is unknown.

Coach Ken Whisenhunt said Monday that X-rays of Kolb’s sternum and ribs were negative.  An MRI is pending.

The Cardinals travel to Minnesota on Monday.

    The Steelers are old and washed up and wont win another game this year.

    Polamalu is finished too.

    Headline is reversed. It should say “Kolb negative, x-rays and MRI coming”.

    Skelton with a week to prepare might not be as bad as Skelton with a week or so of practice as number 2 (which might mean 5-6 snaps at best)

    Funny how many throw jabs at this team that’s 4-2. They have been decimated by injuries and still have a winning record.

    Doesn’t matter who they have at QB on Sunday that Vikings defensive line will destroy them. Cardinals O-line is downright horrible!
