Its a long season so it is dumb to complain and keep pointing out that Tebow hasn’t been used extensively yet. If he plays some major roles in 4 to 5 games during the rest of the season, that still will not appease the peanut/beer gallery.

The Jets don’t have “something special cooked up for Tebow”. What could they do with Tebow that the Broncos didn’t do last year? The problem the Jets have is they gave Sanchez a 3 year extension with $20 million guaranteed. Kinda tough to not play Sanchez and have to tell the owner “Uhh, we wasted $20 million of your money. Sorry!”

There may be something to this. Nobody wins the AFCE without beating the Pats, and the Jets are focused on this. The Broncos hated having Tebow, and had no clue how to utilize him. If Sparano has figured it out (doubtful), they may well have saved it for this game.

I don’t get why everyone says Tebow sucks. Yes he does not throw the ball at top 10 quarterback level, that isn’t his game. He is a dual threat type of guy or wildcat type player and they Jets don’t use him enought! He can throw the deep ball very well, he is pretty much a power running back and he is a smart player. Playing Tebow 5 plays a game will do nothing, and until he gets increased playing time, people won’t see the true difference maker he can be in a game and a season.
