Honestly! Neither Cassel nor Quinn can be blamed for the record. This team was set up to be a dominant defense with a solid running game. Therefore, who is playing quarterback shouldn’t matter all that much. Both the defense and the running game have let the team down.

The problems in KC obviously go much further than the starting QB.

My biggest fear is that Pioli will re-sign Cassel and trade away the first draft pick. Pioli is so stubborn in his stupidity.

Should Cassel start then that means the Chiefs front office still thinks of him as the QB of the future. Should Quinn start, at least we know that the front office is admitting that they need to draft a QB in April.

We’ve seen enough of Cassel to know that he’s not good enough. I don’t think Quinn will be any better (possibly even worse), but I’m at least ready to see someone different stink it up for awhile so my vote is for Quinn. Who knows, maybe he’ll surprise us and show that he can raise his game from truly horrific up to somewhat mediocre.

it’s not a bad thing anymore. Rookie QBs coming into the NFL are ready to play and for the past couple of years are having success. Regardless of what pick they have – i’m assuming top 5, plenty of options: Geno Smith, Matt Barkley, Tyler Wilson, Tyler Bray. It’s time teams realize that signing Matt Cassel or Matt Flynn or another backup doesn’t work in the NFL anymore.
