Crime, infamous corrupted politician lifestyle, low wages and a melting pot just in the brink of exploding at any given type. Miami, the once “beautiful” city. Enough said.

Santa Clara is a far cry from San Francisco. It isn’t even the overall city. Its the fact of just like every other metropolitan area there is a ghetto and unfortunately the stick is right smack in the middle of it and the new stadium is in the suburbs. Comparing the new stadium location to the current one is like comparing Beverly Hills to Compton. Now with that said I’m a tad confused.. earlier you guys reported it was down to Miami and New Orleans. What gives?

As if Santa Clara is this pristine, crime free, drug free not over run by San Jose utopia. And good luck visitors with all the gangs and racial profiling by the PD.

Santa Clara would be an awesome site for the Super Bowl. Great weather, across the street from Great America. Google, Apple, Cisco, and Oracle HQ’s are all within 15 miles (corporate sponsorships) along with countless hotels in the Santa Clara area. 5 minutes from Norman Mineta San Jose International Airport. Shoreline amphitheater down the street for festivities. Easy access to 5 major highways. The Brass Rail stripclub is two exits down 237. It’s pretty much the ideal site. The only problem is it smells like garbage every time you drive through Alviso and Milpitas and they’re only 10 minutes away. Other than those, it’s perfect.

I live close to there so hopefully the Panthers are good by that time so I can buy some tickets, but I won’t hold my breath on that part.

Who are we kidding here? Bid for it? Santa Clara has this one. That’s not a shot at Miami. The NFL loves to have the Superbowl played in shiny new stadiums. Just don’t tell us there’s a “bidding process” going on.

Most likely will be The Bay. If you look at it the NFL has basically black balled California from Super Bowls since SB XXXVII in San Diego. This is most likely because no Califonia based team/municipality has built a new stadium until now. If you don’t beleive this just take a look at what cities have hosted the bowl since the 2002 season when it was in San Diego. Miami has hosted mulitple times (XLI, XLIV) without the benefit of a new stadium and New Orleans will host this years without new facilities. All the other host sites had or will have new stadiums. So all in all, look for the league to end the California black ball.
