I just don’t get Jason Garretts approach. Why wouldn’t you be focused on trying to win a title? No wonder this team plays well one week and lousy the next. Jason how about focusing on clock management late in the game!

Garrett is correct in what he said and in his approach: Jones is a great owner, and Garrett should pnly be focused on the next game . . . . of course, what Garrett did not say, and what is obvious to anyone who has ever watched a football game, is that next to Matt Millen, Jerry Jones is the worst GM in the history of football.

I really don’t want the Cowboys to suck. The NFL is more fun when they’re talented, talkative and over-hyped. (It makes it all the more sweeter when they blow it all–preferably to us–a la 2007.) I’m concerned that Jerry and Jason are taking the team down. Jerry needs to hire a solid GM and coach and let them do their jobs.

I think at this point in time its pretty safe to say the Cowboys are not a championship-caliber team.

They just don’t have it.

The Cowboys played very well this past Sunday! Garrett is simply saying “We’re focused on THIS at the moment!” You can’t focus ahead and on the game you’re playing or about to play…good grief people!

I do feel bad for all the talent that is stuck on useless teams. Tony Gonzalez, Tomlinson, Phil Rivers, Antonio Gates, Adrian Peterson, Steven Jackson, Larry Fitzgerald, Champ Bailey just to name a few.

It is a disappointing loss. A disappoint loss. The realization that people should is that it is a process. It is a process in all three phases of the game: offense, defense and special teams. People are too focused on our clock management. And by clock management I mean management of the clock. If you look at the tape we did a lot of things well. We did them well.

I’m guessing you people have never heard of taking it one game at a time. Of course everyone is focused on winning a championship but when you start looking ahead then that’s when you get yourself in trouble. Garrett isn’t thinking of the Super Bowl right now. He’s thinking of beating Carolina. Good response and I like his answer.

Typical media over reaction…For one all Jerry said that this team is capable of a championship which they are. Is he supposed to say they stink? Obviously every team and coach.wants to win a championship but the Boys are 2-3 they need to focus on this week to reach their ultimate goal.

Why aren’t they capable of it? Who besides the Falcons (haven’t played a winning team yet, but have barely escaped several times) is playing so great right now that a team that is 2-3 couldn’t contend? That goes for any 2-3 team.

All this time I thought Jason Garrett was accomplishing his goals..but apparently Im wrong..In regards to a championship..he clearly states “We’re not focused on that”..In that case I must say keep up the good work, you continue to accomplish your goals to highest level
