Kam Chancellor is good to go for the Seahawks

This week’s Thursday night game on NFL Network has a little more sizzle than the schedule would have suggested in April. Both the Seahawks and the 49ers are 4-2, with Seattle looking special and the 49ers after Sunday’s loss to the Giants suddenly seeming ordinary.

Throw in the old “what’s your deal?” relationship between former Stanford coach Jim Harbaugh and former USC coach Pete Carroll, and we’ve got us one hell of a game.

Giving the Seahawks a boost is the availability of safety Kam Chancellor. Per the Associated Press, Carroll said Wednesday that Chancellor will play despite an ankle injury that limited him in practice this week.

Chancellor also has an elbow injury, but the ankle was bigger problem. Having him on the field could be a problem for the 49ers.
