Art the Mula was a big Republican who loved government money …go ask Baltimore ..when it benefitted him.
..just guessing that most NF L owners are likely big time R’s and they probably sit around carping about big govern ment…over a scotch…read today that Tom Coburn the R Senator was complaint that corporations have too many tax loopholes and that the NFL is a non-profit that makes $9 billion annually and the feds lose taxes as a result. Never knew that but what is one more absurdity?

Very sorry to see our new owner already allowing the franchiseto be political. You would think he would know NE Ohio is blue not red. Kind of soured me on Haslam a bitand I was really getting to like him and his enthusiasm.I did get a laugh last evening though when a radio guy said. Ryan gave him the creeps and he looks like Eddie Munster.

granadafan, Fox News is pretty moderate comnpared to the stylings of MSNBC and CNN. Dont even tell me you think the the Left fringe news outlets are intended to be thought of as sane. Anyone who believes that people like Rachel Maddow are speaking their language, shouldnt be allowed to cast a vote. That attitude is destroying this country, period.

Lots of political desperation about this non-story story. How bad must your side be doing if you feel the need to attack a man over not being able to sight identify two no-named NFL players on a team that gets absolutely no news time?

I am an avid NFL Fan, but I couldnt pick Weeden or McCoy out of a line-up. Why? Because the Sports news is dedicated to the star players. Everyone knows who Brady, Brees, Griffin, Rodgers, Vick and Rivers are, and would know who they were if they seen them on the street. No one cares (aside from Browns fans)who Weeden and McCoy are.

But hey… If it makes you feel better about your politics, expect the VP candidate to know every player on every NFL Roster, and pretend he wont do a good job as VP if he doesnt know. You people are hilariously mentally malfunctioned.

Reminds me of the time comrade Obama said he was a White Sox fan and then couldn’t name a single player……Biden’s hairplugs are inserted so deep he confused Virginia with North Carolina. Hey Florio – keep your political leanings off the website.
when asked who his favorite White Sox players were later during the broadcast (for some reason MLB Advanced Media has pulled the video from YouTube), Obama answered, “You know uh ….. I I … I thought that … uh …. you know, … the truth is a lot of the Cubs I like too! But, uh … I did not become a Sox fan until I moved to Chicago. Because I uh …. I was growing up in Hawaii so I ended up actually being an Oakland A’s fan.”

Well atleast he hasn’t made any promises using hope to solve major national issues. I wish that concept would work for me, I’ll just hope my Redskins and Raiders to a superbowl championship, that’ll work. In fours years, we’ll see how well that turned out. What am I thinking… I should be hoping to win the lottery so I can be demonized for being rich. So many things to hope into reality, so little time.
